I am not a coffee drinker but I LOVE Frappuccinos, especially carmel. OMG I can't get enough of them, they are so refreshing but they can be very costly. Starbucks is having a Frappuccino Happy Hour from 3-5, until May 15th, all frappuccinos are half price whooooohooooooo!!!! LOL!!!
In the meantime and there after I have found this tasty, low calorie, low cost and surprisingly simple recipe for you to make yourself. Your kids will love it as well.
Ingredients: (2 servings)
- 1 cup light/low fat chocolate milk
- 1 tsp instant coffee
- *** Optional-use flavored coffee like Caramel, Vanilla etc
- 1 cup ice cubes
- Aerosol whipped topping
- Flavored Syrups (Caramel, Chocolate, Hazel Nut, etc)
- Optional: Add a scoop of flavored ice cream for a creamier blend.
Directions:
- Add all ingredients to the blender.
- Blend on high until mixture is smooth and frosty.
- Divide evenly between 2 glasses, top with whipped topping and flavored syrups.
- Serve immediately!!
That's my kind of drink!!!
