Ingredients:
- 24 ice cream cones (flat bottoms)
- 1 Box dry cake mix
- Water, egg & oil According to box
- 1-2 containers of frosting
- Candy coating and sprinkles
- Heat oven to 350°F
- Prepare cake mix according to package directions.
- Fill the ice cream cones with the cake batter so that the cones are around 3/4 full. (Do not overfill or cones will overflow during baking.)
- Stand cones upright in muffin cups.
- Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool completely before frosting about 30 minutes.
- Pipe a decorative swirl of frosting on top of each cupcake cone.
- Sprinkle cupcake cones with nuts, chocolate chips, candy sprinkles or fruit.It's your creation be creative!
- Note: If you want the cake to be different colors, either purchase funfetti cake mix or divide white cake mix into different bowls and add food coloring.
